The Onne Seaport chapter of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku (Onwa), has felicitated with Muslim Faithfuls on the occasion of their Eid Mubarak celebration.

Speaking in PortHarcourt, the Rivers State capital, Chief Isikaku called on Muslim Faithfuls to take advantage of the season, to reflect on the ideal of Allah, which is hinged on peace, unity and love for one another, among others.

The MD/CEO of Godify Towers Nigeria Limited (Operators of Slot Bonded Terminal), also used the medium of the Eid Mubarak celebration to commend the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Bashir Adewale Adeniyi for his policy thrust and reforms that are currently going on in Nigeria Customs Service.

The bonded terminal operator, opined that the exemplary leadership style and quality of CG Adeniyi, are clear indications and advantage of having a career Customs officer as a Comptroller-General of Customs.

He, in the meantime, lauded all the Customs Area Comptrollers at the Eastern Zone Commands of the Nigeria Customs Service, for their collaborations with stakeholders and working in tandem with the policy thrust of the Comptroller – General (CG).

Chief Isikaku further used the medium to call on the Federal Government of Nigeria, to take advantage of the huge revenue generation from the Nigeria Customs Service and other revenue generating agencies, to ensure purposeful leadership and unity in Nigeria.

He maintained that a purposeful leadership in the areas of: steady electricity, good road networks, job opportunities and other social amenities, will go a long way to ensure peace, stability and development of the country.

Chief Isikaku emphasised that a purposeful unity among Nigerians, irrespective of ethnicity or tribe, will in no doubt, promote respect and love for one another; as well as an accelerated development in all sectors of the country.
