Former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Rivers State, Worgu Boms, has seen the light at the end of the tunnel, after 10 Years of suspension.
Recall that Boms was suspended by the Port Harcourt Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in 2014 during the administration of former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, who was the Governor of the State at the time, over the crisis that erupted regarding the appointment of a Chief Judge.
The prolonged suspension had reportedly divided the bar in the State. Consequently, this decision according to a cross section of lawyers has healed an internal wound that has festered for too long amongst members of the Branch.
