Dr. CHIMA ABIAZIM recently took on the role of the New Sole Administrator ( *SOLAD* ) of Oguta Local Government Area ( LGA),, and already there is a general sigh of relief As he hit the ground running.
Known for his sagacity , tenacity and inclusive leadership style. Dr ABIAZIM brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge that is sure to usher in development and progress in the LGA.
He has wasted no time in making his mark and demonstrating the intention and thrust of his policy as an administrator.
With his background in organizational ability, administrative savvy, human development and a passion for positive change.
Dr ABIAZIM is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the local government activities.
Despite his impressive qualifications and achievements,
Dr ABIAZIM remains Humble, and Approachable, making him a LEADER that the people can connect with.
His down-to-earth nature and genuine concern for the well-being of the LGA and it’s people make him a refreshing change from the former “traditional” image of local government officials.
With Dr ABIAZIM at the helm, Oguta LGA can expect a paradigm shift in local government leadership.
For example, he is always early to work, punctually on his seat at the council headquarters, and almost the first to come to work . THIS is despite staying outside Oguta Community.
Unlike some of the past Administrators who decided to relocate and reside in the State capital “Owerri” and comes to work about once in a week , or comes during party meetings / engagements.
Dr. ABIAZIM stays till official closing hours attending to matters of importance.. refreshing indeed to watch in this short while.
Since he assumed office, his office has been a gratifying beehive of activities to watch.
As a respected figure in the LGA, Dr CHIMA ABIAZIM has already garnered surpport and promises to work with him from various stakeholders, staff and residents. His transparent communication style and inclusive decision making – process is a delight to witness, and obviously this will impact and ensure that the needs of the people are at the forefront of his agenda.
Since his appointment and resumption, there have been concerted efforts by all to bring back sanity and the Glory of our local government headquarters. For example he inherited a dilapidated, weed overgrown, immensely vandalized Local Government, with a lackadaisical workforce..
Yet in this early “positives”, displayed, we are certain all these challenges is going to change for better.
Importantly, Dr ABIAZIM promised to promote transparency and accountability in local Government — Governance. …according to him, “this will ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and that the people will have a say in decision making processes.”..
His inheriting such a dilapidated and vandalized structure/ offices notwithstanding, the community are confident he will rectify it in no distant time.
