In view of the recent developments and transformation in the management of Nigeria Customs Service, the management and staff of Harritex Services Limited (Operators of Harritex Bonded Terminal) in PortHarcourt, the Rivers State capital, has congratulated Mr.Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, who recently celebrated his one year in office, as the Comptroller General (CG) of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
Speaking in an interview with Nigerian MomentumNews Online & Magazine in PortHarcourt, the Director, Harritex Services Limited (Operators of Harritex Bonded Terminal), Mr. Chuks Njoku, described CG Bashir Adewale Adeniyi as a disciplined and visionary Customs officer, whose administrative impact in the last one year is evident.
According to Mr.Chuks: “The recent developments in Lagos and PortHarcourt, according to the press briefings by the CGC, are indications of his uncompromising resolve to reposition the Nigeria Customs Service, for the good of the federal government of Nigeria, maritime stakeholders and the society at large.”
The director in the meantime, felicitated with Mr. Mohammed Babandede, who was recently appointed as the Customs Area Comptroller (CAC) of Onne Area II Command, PortHarcourt, Rivers State, adding that his official visits to bonded terminals, shortly after assumption of office was a right move in the right direction.

The freight forwarder in the same vein,congratulated Mr. CC Dim, on his appointment as the Customs Area Comptroller (CAC) in charge of Eastern Marine, PortHarcourt, Rivers State, asserting that his wealth of experience in the business of Nigeria Customs and engagements with maritime stakeholders, will propel the Command under his watch to its expected destination.

Mr. Chuks further used the medium to as well, commend CG Adeniyi, on his choice of appointing Mr. Michael Ugbagu, as the Comptroller in charge of FOU Zone ‘C’ Owerri, Imo State, having known him, along side the duo of Comptrs. Babandede and Dim, as intelligent officers, whose collaborative expertise have helped in the current gains recorded by his administration.
