The Comptroller General of Customs (CGC) Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, has paid a stopover visit to the Zonal Headquarters of Zone ‘C’ and Area 1 Command of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
According to a statement by SC OE Ivara, PRO of Area 1 Customs Command, the CG’s visit which took place on Thursday, 5th September, 2024 was part of his official visit to Area 2 Command, Onne, on the 5th of September, 2024.
The CGC according to the statement, used the occasion to address officers on pertinent issues, which include: incessant smuggling/seizures of illicit drugs in the zone, thorough 100% physical examination and personnel conduct among others.
CG Adeniyi during the visit was received by the Zonal Coordinator, Comptrollers and stakeholders, among others.
