As the clamour for the conduct of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) 2025 chapter elections gathers momentum, preparations are on top gear by various aspiring groups to ensure the emergence of their preferred candidates.
Speaking on the chances of Chief Godfrey Ifeanyi Isikaku to become the next chairman of ANLCA, Onne Seaport chapter, Elder Obioma Chigbu, the Director General (DG) on Welfare, Protocol and Special Duties to the campaign team for Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku, described him (Chief Isikaku) as the best candidate for the chairmanship position.
Elder Chigbu also stated that Chief Isikaku (Onwa) has always been a team player in the business and activities of ANLCA over the years, hence, the reason he should be supported to emerge as the next chairman of ANLCA, Onne Seaport chapter.
The DG, while describing Chief Isikaku as a man of proven integrity, opined that he has the dexterity to lead and represent the interest of ANLCA members at all levels.
Speaking on the kind of leadership quality that is expected from Chief Isikaku, if he emerges, Elder Chigbu was of the view that ANLCA will experience a new dawn and quality leadership direction from a man that has all it takes, as far as leadership is concerned, to change the narrative.
The DG on Welfare Protocol and Special Duties in the meantime, lauded the team responsible for the campaign activities of Chief Isikaku and other aspirants in the electioneering group, for their doggedness in carrying out their respective campaigns.
Elder Chigbu finally urged ANLCA electorate to support and vote for a man that has promised to run an all inclusive government, provide health and insurance policies for members, provide a guests house for leisure and revenue generation and to work in tandem with the leadership of ANLCA NECOM team and the Nigeria Customs Service, among others.
