God in his divine and infinite wisdom created every living creature to have a significant role to play in the course of nature.
Little wonder He created Adam and later gave him Eve to compliment and accomplish His desire for a better union for them.
It is in no doubt that the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), gained its national prominence under the leadership of Chief Sir Ernest Elochukwu as its national president.
In the same vein, ANLCA, Onne Seaport chapter got its pride of place as a freight forwarding association, during the administration of late Hon. Chief Prestige Ossy Prestige, as its chapter chairman.
The achievements of late Hon. Chief Ossy Prestige in the areas of attending to members’ business challenges, welfare and development, among others are quite commendable.
The administrations of Nze Theodore Ejezie, who had a short stay in office and Chief Kingsley Offor may have had their own impacts and challenges, as well as the current leadership of Mr. Mike Ebeatu, which will pave the way for a new administration, come February, 2025.
Since government/governance is a continuum, which doesn’t create room for vacuum, necessitated the declaration and purchase of nomination form to run for the office of ANLCA Chairman, Onne Seaport chapter by Hon. Chief Godfrey Ifeanyi Isikaku, whom I will describe as the “Moon” and the candidates aspiring for other elective positions in his political camp/group that I refer as the “Stars” of ANLCA.
Chief Hon. Ifeanyi Isikaku (Onwa) needs no introduction in the general business of ANLCA, much more in Onne Seaport chapter, where he has played prominent and significant roles in moving the association to its expected destination as the current Vice Chairman.
As a man and leader with proven integrity, Chief Isikaku will in no doubt, change the narrative and leadership of ANLCA and place it on a pedestal of stability, profitability, growth and development, if given the opportunity.
As a tested and trusted ally, Chief Isikaku has made a promise to run an all inclusive government, provide health care and insurance policies that will suit all and sundry members in ANLCA, among others.
Having made policy statements of going to work in tandem with ANLCA NECOM team, the Federal Government and Nigeria Customs Service, to ensure ease of doing business at Onne Seaport, are evidence of his readiness to usher in a new dawn in the business of ANLCA, Onne Seaport chapter.
Let us, therefore, support the emerging “Moon” Chief Hon. Godfrey Ifeanyi Isikaku (Onwa) and his lieutenants (other offices’ aspirants) in his political camp/group to emerge victoriously at the end of the day.
Let the “Moon” and the “Stars” begin to shine brighter and brightest and as well, brightens the business and activities of ANLCA, Onne Seaport chapter, come 2025 and beyond.
