December 22nd, 2024 will remain indelible in the minds of Hon. Williams & Mrs. Ngozi Ejiakor, as they gave their foster daughter’s hand in marriage.
Community Secondary School Orogwe field in Owerri West LGA., Imo State, was the meeting point for the traditional marriage, where who is who in Imo State politics, as well as business men and women, among others, converged to honour their own, Hon. Williams & Mrs. Ngozi Ejiakor.
It was indeed, an event where the newest couple, Mr. Gideon Chiemena Nwankwo and former Miss Ugochi Adaugo Ogbuehi were happily joined together in the Igbo traditional way of marriage.
Miss Ugochi Adaugo Ogbuehi, having been given a cup of wine to search for her husband, brought him before her foster parents, Hon. Williams & Mrs. Ngozi Ejiakor, who prayed and gave them their fatherly and motherly blessings.
Some of the personalities that graced the ceremony in Imo State and beyond include but not limited to Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, member representing Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency and his amiable wife; Hon. Chief Gideon Meffor, SA to Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma on Palm Plantations and Dr. Gideon Nwaeze, the All Progressives Congress (APC) party Apex leader in Oguta LGA., Imo State.
Others include: Hon. Ifeanyi Nnani, the Executive Chairman, Oguta LGA., Imo State; Hon. Solomon Awuzie, councilor representing Uwaorie Ward, Agwa in Oguta LGA legislative assembly and Hon.
