Community Day Celebration: My Visit Is Nostalgic, Hon. Dibiagwu Tells Opuoma People

The member representing Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency, Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, has described his visit to Opuoma Community, Egbema in Ohaji/Egbema LGA, as nostalgic.

The “Eugene of Imo Politics,” who expressed the feelings today at Opuoma Community Day celebration, said that his visit to the community was to fulfill his electioneering campaign promise when he visited the community.

Hon. Dibiagwu disclosed his promise to always identify with the people of Opuoma when called upon, if they vote for him, then; adding that he found it very necessary to attend the event, having been invited by the chairman of the occasion, Engr. Eric Uwakwe.

The National Assembly member, who was accompanied by Hon. Williams Ejiakor, an Oguta LGA born politician and Hon. Adonis Nick, thanked the chairman of the occasion and retired NDDC Director, Engr. Eric Uwakwe, whose address at the event was centered on the renaming of the community from Oburu-Otu to Opuoma Community and its migration from Benin Ancient Kingdom, among others.
