Holy Cross Catholic Church, Aladinma, Owerri, Imo State, was the meeting point for parishioners and people of goodwill, who came to honour their own, Hon. Sir Boniface & Lady Maria Egiogu.
The thanksgiving mass in honour of Hon. Sir Boniface Ejiogu, former Commissioner for Education, Imo State and his amiable wife, Hon. Lady Mària Egiogu, former Member Representing Oguta State Constituency at the Imo State House of Assembly, was in appreciation of God’s love, mercy and protection upon the couple, over the years.
Speaking at the thanksgiving mass, the Federal Lawmaker, Representing the good people of Ohaji, Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency, and the Chairman, House Committee on Ministry of Regional Development, Rt. Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu said: “Today the 19th day of January, 2025, I happily join friends and well wishers of Hon. Dr. Sir Boniface Ejiiogu, a former Commissioner for Education, Imo State, and his amiable wife, Hon. Lady Maria Ejiogu, a former House
Member, Rpresenting Oguta State Constituency, as they thanked God Almighty for the life and numerous blessings he bestowed upon them.”
According to Rt. Hon. Dibiagwu: “I am here today to honour Hon. Sir Boniface Ejiogu and his wife, Lady Maria Ejiogu as my political mentors. Sir Boniface Ejiogu is a man that I have so much respect for, as far as the business of politics is concerned.
“I must say that God really blessed Hon. Sir Boniface Ejiogu with a great woman, who has remained focused and steadfast in all ramifications.” Hon. Dibiagwu stated.
The vibrant and performing Federal House Member in the meantime, prayed God to continue to bless, protect and preserve Hon. Sir & Lady Ejiogu with long life, and good health, for him to continue to tap from their blessings and wealth of experience.
