The atmospheric condition in Ohaji, Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency has been joyous in the last few days, following the confirmation that Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, had indeed, paid for over 2000 constituent students to seat for the May/June 2025 SSCE.
This gesture of Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu (The Eugene Of Imo Politics), Member Representing the good people of Ohaji, Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency at the Green Chambers, is in line with the established fact that knowledge is power, hence the need to lay the right educational foundation for the deserving students across the constituency, which has 33 wards.
Available records have indeed, confirmed that the beneficiaries of the largesse were drawn from the 33 wards of the Federal Constituency, under the watch of Hon. Eugene Dibiagwu, as its Representatives Member.
What this gesture entails is that Hon. Eugene Dibiagwu is a man that can be trusted, and one that ensures his word, as his bond, despite all odds.
This very important feat by the Honourable Member, has been adjudged to be the highest, in the history of the constituent in terms of the number of beneficiaries at any given time.
Hon. Eugene Dibiagwu (The Dangote Of Imo Politics), is an entrepreneur and sound resource manager, who understands the potent dynamics, envisioned in training people with the requisite tools, cannot undermine the effect and ripples that this largesse will endear into the constituency.
The beneficiaries need not to be told of the challenges ahead of them. The challenges of studying hard, and ensure they emerge victoriously at the end of the exam.
Parents of the beneficiaries also have a role to play, by ensuring that their wards take this little but great opportunity very seriously, as those who may come out with excellent or very good results, may stand a chance for other opportunities, who knows?
It is pertinent at this point, to call on those saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that the good vision of Hon. Eugene Dibiagwu for the beneficiaries is not geopardized.
The alleged report that some of the school principals, where the beneficiaries are to be registered for the SSCE, are making unguided advances on the beneficiaries, by trying to extort monies from them, should be properly investigated.
Reliable information has it that, there are other levies or fees to be paid, that are synanimous with the May/June exam, yet, we are equally on the know about the extortions, which if not addressed, may deprive some of the original beneficiaries from getting what is due them, as a result of personal interest and greed on the part of the alleged principals.
The alleged principals are therefore, urged to accommodate the real beneficiaries and discountenance themselves from such illicit acts, otherwise, the law will catch up with them, at the end of the day.
Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu must be commended for his vision and strides to put the good people of his constituency on a pedestal of educational/academic excellence in Imo State.
