Change Of Baton: Mike Hands Over Leadership Of ANLCA, Onne Seaport Chapter To Isikaku As Isikaku Affirms To Kick Start Construction Of ANLCA’s Guests House In 3 Months

The newly sworn-in Exco of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Onne Seaport chapter, Rivers State, has officially taken over the mantle of leadership of the chapter.

This is as the immediate past chapter chairman of ANLCA, Onne Seaport, Mr. Mike Ebeatu handed over the baton of association’s leadership to the current chairman, Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku (Onwa), to continue to pioneer the affairs of the association.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony which took place at ANLCA Secretariat (Ossy Prestige House) in Onne, on the 10th of March, 2025, Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku disclosed of knowing Mr. Mike Ebeatu for more than 20 years, adding that politics can’t divide them.

The chapter chairman and MD/CEO of Godify Group of Companies Limited (Operators of Slot Bonded Terminal), who promised to run an all inclusive administration, promised to lay the foundation of a new ANLCA Guests House and Conference Hall, as outlined in his campaign manifesto, in the next 3 months.

Chief Isikaku however, stated that the project construction can’t be done by him alone, but with the collective support of his Exco and stakeholders as well.

Recall Chief Isikaku had during the unveiling of his election manifesto at Sweet Spirit Hotel, PortHarcourt, on the 16th of January, 2025 promised to build a 30 room guests house with a conference hall, provide welfare and health care (insurance) packages for chapter members, and one-more bus for association’s transportation and other logistics services, among others.

Now that Isikaku (Onwa) has hit the ground running, it is believed that he may surpass the unbroken record of the former chapter chairman, late Hon. Ossy Prestige Ossy at the end of his administration.
