The Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs (ACG), OC Orbih, Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘A’, Lagos State, has paid his first official visit to the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) Command on the 26th of March, 2025.

During the visit, the Customs Area Comptroller (CAC), Comptroller EJ Edelduok, extended her heartfelt welcome to the ACG and presented a report highlighting the Command’s achievements since she assumed leadership.

Her report underscored the Command’s efforts in revenue generation and trade facilitation.

Responding, ACG Orbih emphasized on the importance of synergy between the Command and stakeholders, as well as diligence amongst officers, while encouraging them to maintain a high level of professionalism and work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve the Command’s objectives.

The ACG assured the officers of the Command that he would escalate the challenges facing the Command to the Headquarters, ensuring that their concerns are addressed and used the medium to pledge to play his role in supporting the Command and demonstrated his commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and facilitating trade within the zone.

The visit, has reaffirmed ACG Orbih’s commitment to fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, ultimately contributing to the Nigeria Customs Service’s strategic objectives.
