The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Odest Global Resources Limited (Operators of Odest Bonded Terminals), Mr. Chidera Oganuzor, has felicitated with Christians and maritime stakeholders on the season of 2025 Easter celebration.
The freight forwarder, who spoke in PortHarcourt, the Rivers State capital, described the Lenten season as a moment of sober reflection, self denial and alms giving, among others.
The maritime stakeholder, who urged all Christian faithful to continue to live Christ like life, opined that the season calls for in-depth commitment to the service of God and humanity.
The bonded terminal operator in PortHarcourt, the Rivers State capital, further used the medium of the Easter celebration to enumerate on the significance of Lenten and Easter seasons that are hinged on reaching out to the less privileged in the society, as a result of the self denial in the course of the Lenten season.
He, in the meantime, felicitated with the Comptroller General of Customs (CGC), Bashir Adewale Adeniyi on his recent award as the “Public Service Person Of The Year 2025” Award by the Leadership Newspaper, describing it as an award well deserved.
Oganuzor, who further extended his heartfelt felicitations to the management team, officers and men of the Nigeria Customs Service, further lauded Comptroller Mohammed Babandede, the CAC, Onne Area II Command, for the good job he is doing at the Command, especially in the areas of life saving and security, through various seizures of illicit drugs, arms and ammunition at the Command.
He equally congratulated all the maritime stakeholders, particularly, the freight forwarders and bonded terminal operators for adding unquantified value to the robust revenue generation to the federal government through the Nigeria Customs Service.
