The Salvation Ministries Church has honoured Mr. Sylvester Oganuzor for his philanthropic gesture to the house of God.
The ministries under the leadership of its Founder and General Overseer (GO), Pastor David Ibiyeomie deemed it necessary to honour the MD/CEO of Odest Global Resources Limited (Operators of Odest Bonded Terminal), with an “Award For The Building Of Worship Center 2025.”
The aforementioned award of honour to Mr. Oganuzor is further said to be in recognition his desire to build and handover the “Mgbidi Worship Center” to worshippers at Mgbidi, in Oru West LGA of Imo State.
The Award presentation to Mr. Oganuzor was done during the recently concluded 28th Anniversary of Salvation Ministries.
Mr. Chidera Oganuzor, who is known as an epitome of “Grace Personified,” for his numerous philanthropic gestures across churches and society at large, has always remained grateful to God for his mercy and providence, hence the reason to give back to the society.
Mr. Oganuzor in a chat with Nigerian MomentumNews Online & Magazine, sincerely appreciated former Area II Comptrollers of Onne Customs Command, Rivers State, Mr. Auwal Mohammed, Mr. Imam Baba and the present Area Controller, Comptr. Mohammed Babandede, for the then commissioning and various support to the existence of Odest Bonded Terminal in the last 3 years.
He equally lauded the Comptroller-General of Customs, Mr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, on his recent tenure extension and various policies that have brought about the transparency, ease of doing business, stakeholders engagement and robust revenue generation, among others, that are currently being experienced in the business of Nigeria Customs Service and the freight forwarders.
