The 20th day of December, 2025 was indeed, a memorable day for all and sundry members of Imo Freight Forwarders Association of Nigerian (IFFAN), as the converged at the People’s Club Hall in PortHarcourt, the Rivers State capital to celebrate their End of the Year Party.
Presenting an address at the event, the Vice President of Imo Freight Forwarders Association of Nigeria, Mr. Maccarty Obi enumerated on some of the achievements of the association under the leadership of Sir Prominence Ezeoha, which include: the purchase of 2 and half plots of land, the availability of the architectural design of the association’s proposed meeting hall project in Rivers State, as well as members welfare, among others.
In his remarks, the President of IFFAN, Sir Prominence Ezeoha thanked all and sundry members of the association for their unwavering support, particularly to some illustrious sons of Imo State in the maritime industry, for their tremendous financial support to the actualisation of the association”s set out goals.
Shortly after receiving the architectural design of the association’s proposed project from the President of IFFAN, Sir Prominence Ezeoha, Mr. Chris Obi, the BoT Secretary of IFFAN, thanked Sir Ezeoha and his Exco, for changing the narrative in the management of IFFAN.
He expressed optimism that the foundation laying ceremony of the proposed IFFAN building project would take place in the year 2026, looking at the way and manner the President and his Exco members went about the initiative.
Speaking in an interview with Nigerian MomentumNews Online & Magazine, Chief Ambrose Agomuo, a member of IFFAN BoT, described the event as a day of merriment for all and sundry members of the association.
The BoT member further expressed his appreciation to the Exco of IFFAN ably led by Sir Prominence Ezeoha and assured of their unalloyed support to his administration.
In the same vein, Chief Hyginus Oluigbo, another member of the BoT, said he was happy seeing the marmot crowd that graced the End of the Year party.
While appreciating God for the life of every member of the association, Chief Oluigbo equally used the medium to commend the leadership of Sir Prominence Ezeoha for changing the dynamics in the management and activities of IFFAN.
He in the meantime, called on Imo State freight forwarders operating at Onne, Area 1 Seaports and PortHarcourt International Airport that were yet to join IFFAN to come and do so.
In the same vein, Prince Samuel Amadi, the MD/CEO, Samdis Worldwide Solution Limited, while responding on his decision to foot the bill of every food item that was served members in the course of the End of the Year party, said it was his own way of supporting the administration and progress of the association.
He lauded the giant strides of the association’s Exco, led by Sir Prominence Ezeoha, especially on the land acquisition for the building of the association’s house in Rivers State.
Prince Amadi equally expressed optimism that the proposed building project of the association, with the support of relevant stakeholders would come to fulfilment, come the year 2026.
