The 1st year anniversary of Mr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi as the Comptroller General (CG) of Nigeria Customs Service, has continued to dominate current conversations in the maritime space.
This joyous development has in no doubt, prompted maritime stakeholders and media practitioners to express their respective views on the efforts and achievements of CG Adeniyi in the last one year.
Speaking in interview with Nigerian MomentumNews Online & Magazine, Mr. Chidera Oganuzor, the MD/CEO, Odest Global Resources Limited (Operators of Odest Bonded Terminals), described CG Adeniyi’s 1st year in office as impressive and encouraging.
According to Mr. Oganuzor; “For the very fact that the dew of CG Adeniyi’s leadership style and prowess are being felt across board in the maritime sector of the Nigerian economy, we, the Management and Staff of Odest Global Resources Limited (Operators of Odest Bonded Terminals), will continue to identify and felicitate with him, on his 1st Year Anniversary as the Comptroller General (CG) of Nigeria Customs Service.
“His one year of impressive leadership has set a standard for better years ahead, especially in our business relationship as freight forwarders with the management team and the entire officers of Nigeria Customs Service.

The PortHarcourt Bonded Terminal Operator, who wished the Customs boss the best of luck and more fruitful years ahead, used the medium to commend Mr. Mohammed Babandede, the Customs Area Comptroller (CAC) of Onne Area II Command, for his recent visits to Bonded Terminals, shortly after assumption of office and stakeholders engagements, among others.
