An aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) political party for the chairmanship seat of Oguta LGA, in the incoming LGA elections in Imo State, Hon. Collins Ugochukwu Jumbo, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma on his reaffirmation as the authentic governor of Imo State, by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Hon. Jumbo who spoke in an interview with newsmen in Owerri, the Imo State capital, lauded the Supreme Court for the landmark judgement.
The Agwa born politician further stated that the reaffirmation of the Supreme Court over the matter has finally brought peace and tranquility in the governance and political business of the state.
Hon. Jumbo, who is known for his philanthropic gestures and peaceful disposition in Agwa and Oguta LGA, disclosed that the judgement would enable the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma to consolidate on the gains of his first four (4) years in office, to move the state to its expected destination.
The Oguta LGA chairmanship aspirant, used the medium to commend the state governor for his tireless efforts to ensure the return of peace in the state.
He, in the same vein, lauded Senator Uzodimma for constructing and reopening road networks within and outside the capital city of the state, which have helped to ease transportation challenges in the state.
According to him: “It is evident that our amiable governor has done well in the areas of: security, road construction and other infrastructural developments in the state in the last four (4) years and still counting.
“The wealth of knowledge he exhibited in the just concluded late Dr. Michael Okpara Memorial Lecture 2024 that was held in Abuja and his ability to attract fellow politicians and business men across the North and South of the country to donate generously to the building of late Dr. Okpara’s Memorial Center, speak volumes of his leadership prowess,” Hon. Jumbo stated.
Responding on the incoming primary and LGA elections in the state, Hon. Jumbo thanked Senator Uzodimma for providing a level playing ground for all aspirants and further called on Imolites and opposition political parties in the state to join hands with Governor Uzodimma, to build a better Imo State, for the good of all and sundry.
