A member of the Rivers State Primary Health Care Board, Dr. Stanley Amadi, has educated members of Imo Freight Forwarders Association of Nigeria (IFFAN) on some important and critical health matters, that are associated with age.
Educating association members on the topic: “Health,” at the Peoples Club, PortHarcourt, Rivers State, on the 21st of September, 2024, Dr. Stanley Amadi, briefly defined health according to the World Health Organization (WHO), as a state of complete well-being.
The Medical Director of Pharez Spring Wellness and Diagnostic Hospital, Onne, Rivers State, who enumerated on three (3) aspects of health, which include: physical health, mental health and social health, urged men and women experiencing regular urination and discharge of urine after urination to consider removing their prostrate once they are done with procreation.
According to the doctor, removal of the prostrate, must be carried out by a well recommended doctor in that field, as it has no side effects, if properly handled.
He emphasized further that prostrate removal allows for erection and ejaculation for both men and women, affirming that it wouldn’t allow for pregnancy or making of babies any longer.
In his words: “Once you are 40 years and above and have no need to make children, it’s advisable to remove the prostrate, so you can have a better and quality life. When prostatectomy is done well by a trained urologist, you have good urination and good coitus.” Dr. Amadi affirmed.
