It is no longer news that the promise made by a political trailblazer in Ohaji, Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency in Imo State is about to be fulfilled.
It was on record that Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, member representing the good people of Ohaji, Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, did promised to quake the state and his constituent in particular, with an empowerment programme.
This, he said, would be in collaboration with the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, who is the initiator of the government of shared prosperity, among others in the state.
Those who were privileged to be at Oru West Local Government Headquarters, Mgbidi on the 4th of January, 2025 during the constituency briefing of Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu on the theme: “My Journey So Far At The National Assembly,” would attest to the fact that the “Eugene of Imo Politics” did enumerated on his various achievements in the areas of: infrastructural development and other empowerment initiatives, among others in the last one year plus.
However, all is now set for the political trailblazer to teach his constituents how to fish and not just giving them the fish, which is the real essence of the proposed mega empowerment programme scheduled to take place on the 1st of March, 2025 at Oru West LGA Headquarters, Mgbidi.
This proposed and well thought-out mega empowerment is said to have received the nod of the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, who will be physically present at the venue of the event, to see his government of shared prosperity being extended to the good people of Ohaji, Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency, through his lieutenant and dependable ally, Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu.
While the people await for the 1st of March, 2025 with expectations and excitements, which will affirm and as well, be added to the various achievements and initiatives of Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu in placing his constituents on a pedestal of growth, development and stability. It is obvious that Hon. Eugene Dibiagwu, who has distinguished himself in the legislative business of the National Assembly, will continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to his constituents and the state at large, as time progresses.
It is therefore, expected that by the saying that “to whom much is given, much is expected,” that the beneficiaries of the projects and empowerments at the ward level and beyond, by Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, must ensure judicious use of the opportunities for their good and that of their various wards and communities in general.
