Nick (Ochuariri 1 of Niger Delta), has expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Chief Sir Gideon Meffor (Igurigi of Oloshi), on his well deserved appointment as a Board of Trustees (BoT) member of the Governing Council of Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP).
Prince Nick in his message of congratulations, described Chief Hon. Gideon Meffor as a patient man, that has always waited for God’s appointed time in his life and career.
According to Hon. Nick, Chief Meffor’s appointment as a member of the Board of Trustees, will play a crucial role in guiding the organization’s strategy, overseeing financial matters, and ensuring adherence to its mission and values.
The Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) is aimed at mitigating the impact of hydrocarbon pollution on the environment and communities of the affected areas.
Prince Nick is optimistic that the coming on board of Hon. Chief Sir Meffor as a BoT member of HYPREP Governing Council, will provide an opportunity for the Board to leverage on his unique perspective and expertise to drive meaningful change in the affairs of the Council.
Prince Nick in the meantime, lauded the duo of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the nomination of Chief Hon. Gideon Meffor by the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma to serve in the Board of Trustees (BoT) of HYPREP Governing Council.
The former Leader of Ohaji/Egbema Legislative Council further thanked Governor Uzodimma for recognizing Hon. Meffor as a grassroots political moblizer and team player.
