Sunday, 2nd of August, 2026 was indeed, a memorable day for all and sundry members of Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu’s political family and the people of Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency in general.
The aforementioned date, further called for the convergence of men and women from all walks of life, gathering at the instance of Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, Member representing the good people of Ohaji/Egbema Oguta, and Oru West Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and Hon. Chief Adonis Obinna Nick, former leader, Ohaji/Egbema Legislative Assembly.
The child dedication service of Baby Sochima Nick, and the chieftaincy title conferment of Rt. Hon. Chief Adonis Nick, as the Ochuariri 1 of Niger Delta, were the reasons for the gathering.
Speaking at Umuorji -Egbema, the country home of Chief Adonis Obinna Nick; Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, congratulated Hon. Chief Adonis Obinna Nick (Ochuariri 1) of Niger Delta, his wife and the entire family, for their double celebration.
In his words: “I pray that God Almighty will establish your home, enlarge your coast, and crown all your endeavors with enduring success and divine favor.
“I urge the people of Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru West to embrace peace, choose unity over division, and to continue supporting my representation, so that we can reclaim our dignity, restore our pride, and rebuild a future of prosperity for generations to come.
“True progress is people-powered, purpose-driven, and peace-protected. When a community stands together, no challenge is too strong, and no dream is too big,” Hon. Dibiagwu stated.
In his response, Hon. Chief Adonis Obinna Nick (Ochuariri 1 of Niger Delta) said: “I sincerely appreciate my boss, Rt.Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, Honourable Member representing Ohaji-Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Abuja, and the Dangote of the Niger Delta, for your goodwill, encouragement and tremendous support towards the success of this event,” Chief Nick stated.
Hon. Nick equally used the medium to commend Hon. Dibiagwu for his leadership strides in bringing the government of shared prosperity to the people of Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency in the state.
The former leader of the Ohaji-Egbema Legislative Council was optimistic about the numerous achievements of Hon. Dibiagwu; pointing out that they will continue to speak volumes of him, especially now that the 2027 electioneering campaign is about to commence.
