The Prince Elite Club of Nigeria -Enugu 2026 Retreat with the theme: “Vision And Strategic Growth For Prince Elite Club,” which took place at Landmark Nike Lake Hotel Resort, Enugu State, may have come and gone, but the experience and knowledge acquired by participants at the event will remain indelible in their respective careers.
The retreat which commenced with the departure of Club members from PortHarcourt, the Rivers State capital to its Enugu State destination on Friday, 14th August came to a close on Sunday, 16th August, 2026.
Presenting his address on the theme: “Vision And Strategic Growth For Prince Elite Club Of Nigeria,” Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku (Onwa), BoT Chairman and Chairman of the Enugu 2026 Retreat Planning Committee, described Vision as what drives every human endeavour to reach its desired objectives.
He pointed out that any organisation without vision is like a rudderless ship without a compass, adding that vision without strategy is just a mere wish.
Chief Isikaku in the meantime, enumerated on vision, as well as strategic growth -the five pillars, the role of Prince Elite Club in national development, and conclusively urged members to embrace shared vision for Prince Elite Club, work the five pillars of strategic growth and to serve communities and nation with distinction and sense of purpose, among others.
In his address, the Mayor of Prince Elite Club of Nigeria, Prince Anayochukwu Onyerimma, opined that the Retreat which has become an annual event of the club, is a testament to the consistent growth of the club.
According to him: “The retreat provides members with the opportunity to review most of the policies, decisions, and outcomes that have been shaping the operations of the club over the past one year, with the view of adapting or continuing with the best ones, while reshaping others to give operations of the club a reality in tune with prevailing situation.
“Recall that in the last event at Akwa Ibom, certain motions were adopted into law, while a few others were jettisoned. In this year’s event, there is no doubt about interrogations of how well some of the previous motions have served the club, while some of us have armed ourselves with new motions, which when adopted -would equally help our dear club to achieve the most desired el-dorado,” Mayor Onyerimma stated.
The club mayor further said that last year’s promise to start the club meetings in their 500 – persons auditorium complex was a promise made and promise kept, adding that his regime has since left the threshold rights payment phenomenon to actually do it in real time.
He went further to state that works are ongoing in the digitalisation project, which they promised the club, stating that the club, at the end of the year, would be hosted on the web.
Mayor Onyerimma, who lauded the chairman of the Retreat Standing Committee, Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku for a job well done, equally used the medium to thank and welcome their newly inducted members at the event, for being part of the Enugu 2026 Retreat.
Also in his address, Chief Kingsley Offor, the patron of the Prince Elite Club of Nigeria said: ” It is with great joy and pride that I stand before you today as your Patron in this important retreat.
“First, I commend the leadership of Prince Elite Club for choosing this timely theme: Vision and Strategic Growth. A club without vision drifts. A club without strategy stalls. But a club with both vision and strategy becomes a force — in business, in community, and in legacy.
“My dear Princes and Princesses, we are not just a social club. We are a brotherhood and sisterhood with influence. People look up to us for leadership, for ideas, and for impact. And that impact only comes when we are deliberate.
“Let us ask ourselves: Where do we see Prince Elite Club in the next 5 years or 10 years? Are we building structures that will outlive us? Are we mentoring the next generation? Are we known beyond Nigeria as a club that stands for excellence, integrity, and service?Vision is seeing the future before it arrives, and working toward it today.
“Vision without strategy is just a wish.
Strategic growth means: bringing in men and women of value, character, and capacity who will add to the club, not just take from it.
“Moving from jamborees to projects that touch lives: health outreaches, scholarships, youth empowerment, and business networking.
“Building sustainable income streams for the club. A strong treasury gives us independence to execute our vision.
“No vision survives in a house divided. Let us continue to put the club above personal interests. As your Patron, I am committed to walking with you on this journey. I will support, I will challenge, and I will open doors where I can. But the work is ours, collectively.
“I charge every member here today: leave this retreat with one clear commitment. One thing you will do to move this club forward in the next 12 months.
“Prince Elite Club has a name. Let us give that name the weight it deserves.
“Thank you to the organizers for this retreat, and to the Landmark Nike Lake Hotel for hosting us.
“May God bless the Prince Elite Club. May God bless Enugu State. And may God bless all of us,” Chief Offor stated.
Speaking in an interview at the lake side of the hotel with Nigerian MomentumNews, Chief Mike Ebeatu, a member of the Prince Elite Club of Nigeria, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all and sundry members of the club, for making out time to be part of the 2026 retreat.
The immediate past chairman of Association of Nigerian Customs Licensed Agents (ANLCA), Onne Seaport chapter, equally lauded the BoT chairman of the club, as well as the chairman, Enugu 2026 Retreat, Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku for the successful outcome of the retreat.
The MD of Microfreight Nigeria Limited, who spoke more on his motion at the floor of the club’s retreat, to extend the days of their subsequent retreats to commence on Thursday and end on Sunday, instead of kick-starting on Friday and ending on Sunday.
Mr. Ebeatu was of the view that such an extension will enable them to arrive at their retreat venue on Thursday, have their retreat on Friday and then use Saturday to rest and have fun, before leaving on Sunday.
While expressing optimism that the club will continue to get better as time progresses, Mr. Ebeatu used the medium to commend the Club Mayor, Prince Anayochukwu Onyerimma for using the retreat to present an award of honour to: Chief Charles Onyebuchi Onyele, Mr. Gerald Kelvin Onuoha and Hon. Comrade Joachin Ifeanyichukwu Kanu, for their respective contributions to the progress and development of the club.
In the same vein, Prince Emmanuel Obialor, an accountant and member of the club, expressed gratitude in the way and manner that the club is carrying out its business and activities.
He thanked the BoT chairman and chairman of the Enugu 2026 Retreat, Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku for his leadership prowess, while affirming to give his very best for the good of all and sundry members of the club.
Similarly, three out of the five newly inducted members, which include: Engr. Peter Chinweotito Onwueyi, Mr. Charles Okogbue, and Engr. Emmanuel Onu, said they were happy to be part of the Prince Elite Club of Nigeria family, adding that they were enriched with the lectures that were delivered in the course of the retreat.
They further commended the Exco and the Planning Committee of the 2026 Retreat of the Prince Elite Club of Nigeria and promised to contribute their quota for the progress and development of the club.
High points of the event include: presentation on “Agile Risk Management: Safeguarding Sustainable Growth In A Volatile Market,” by Sir Nwankwo Chibueze Okorie McDonald; “From Vision To Reality – Strategic Leadership For Sustainable Growth In A Changing World,” by Dr. Felix I. Ugwu, and “Vision, Strategic Growth And Health: Aligning Long Term Goals And Sustainability With Well-being,” by Dr. Obinna Chukwuebuka Nduagubam and the induction of five new members into the family of the Prince Elite Club of Nigeria.
Recall that the Club under the Mayorship of Prince Anayochukwu Onyerimma (Igbo 1) had its 2025 Retreat at Ibom Hotel & Resort, Akwa Ibom State.
